iPhone app Flippie Lauched

Now we've got a new one. Flippie - the whimsical name for the new app pertains to the nature of the app. You can shake and roll (sans rattle) your device to produce a fun dice roll with sound. It will roll up to 12 dice on-screen even though up to 2000 numbers can be generated in one roll. Only the first 12 numbers will produce corresponding dice on the screen due to the limited available space. You can also select a range of low to high ranging from 1 to 299,999 for your number set. Of course dice range from 1 to 6 and shaking the device side-to-side will perform that setting.
Flippie is already producing international interest with a few dozen downloads in the first couple of days available.
Now we are hopeful Flippie will point buyers to Random Haiku the app for sale for 99 cents. Hell, people pay more than that for accessory jewels in online gaming.

Random Haiku App Launched
by Dynamicore Consulting Inc

My first iPhone® app, Random Haiku, just launched in the App Store on February 9. It went very smoothly besides first determination of provisioning process in development which I will discuss in a future post. Random Haiku is basically five great random generators in one app.

On the first tab the app can generate a small to large range of random numbers in small to large sets. The range and quantity settings allow the user to set the range of numbers from 1 to 299,999 with a quantity of 1 to 2000. The unique switch is another important feature which determines whether duplicate numbers should be produced. Or in math parlance this is "independence" from the previous outcome(s) or numbers produced. So when rolling dice for example, which by the way this tab of Random Haiku does, non-unique outcomes are required since multiple dice are independent of one another. A lottery roll on the other hand would allow only one occurrence of each number produced, and a unique set is required.

On the second tab is a simple random letter generator. This will produce random letters and is a simple way to compete with friends or test yourself in creating the most number of words possible from a random set of letters.

The third tab of the app is a simple password generator and storage device. It will store only a single password. The selection features for the password allow from 4 to 25 characters and will allow a combination of alphabetic (upper or lower case), numeric, and special characters.

The fourth tab is the title tab where Haikus are generated. Blocks of select words are strung together into each line of the Haiku producing a consistent form of 5, 7, 5 syllable form for each of the three lines. Generate your classic poem with rich seasonal imagery and copy to post on your social network status. Its fun generating a poem you can really relate to.

Finally in the fifth tab there a simple number selection game that can either be played with a simple quadratic solution form or without solution hint so guessing/psychic energy is used to pick the number. Speed is also a factor on the game whose object is to score as low as possible. So screw on your math brain or see how why your psychic powers are working today.

Discover the drum kit too - thrown in for good measure and fun with the device accelerometer you can make your iPhone a drum set on the Letters (2nd) tab.
The Numbers tab will produce dice sound effects - just give it a shake after the app launches. Bird songs adorn the Haiku tab and your accelerometer will produce these sounds of springtime.
